I haven't used Midas for my Vanagon, though have priced it at similar shops. I always found getting the parts cheaper through places like Bus Depot or Vanagain. I was, at first, intmidated by the rusted bolts--to get everything loose on my '84, but a local body shop loosened them for a can of soda, then put new ones on for me to get it home. I found that the work I did myself held up better than what I'm hearing other list members report from Midas and other places similar. Just my .0150! Daryl Densford Blue '90 GL in NY |
