With all the discussion about being 'on the road' and questions about who to contact, it's probably a good time to once again advertise the Air-cooled Interstate Rescue Squad (AIRS). Take a minute and slide over to our sister list's website at <http://www.type2.com> and follow the AIRS link. Read about it, sign up and grab the names and addresses of your fellow veedubbers on your route. Most of us are willing to put up other type2 owners or at least direct them to somewhere safer than SE rest areas.

Another excellent traveler's resource is located at <http://www.westfalia.org> Same idea as the AIRS folks.

Using each of these services is a 'give a little, get a little' type deal. Please add yourself to the lists so that if there is someone in need in YOUR area, they might contact you.
