After a long summer canoeing the waterways of the northwoods with my Van safely parked, its time to make some changes in preparation for fall road trips. The overhead AC ducts abruptly crashed to the floor one day, prompting me to remove the rest of the interior AC components to make room for shelves, etc. The Hayes manual says I can't do it myself. Now, its hard to believe my 86 van has any R-12 left. Can I just rip everything out? Does this stuff have any resale value once removed?
