Thank you to everyone who responded, I'm charging the
battery and my brother agrees with the alternator
theory, so we will try and fix it tomorrow.  The belt
looks like it may be slipping and he doesn't like the
look of the main wire going to the battery.  Anyone
know of a good parts store?  :)!  The annoying part is
that I had a mechanic check out the whole van before I
made this trip and he pronounced it A-OK.  Guess i
need a new mechanic!!!! :)
