I agree. The two and a half years of my Subaru conversion have been a
terrible hassle. Oil change every 3000 miles,one visit to the shop to
install a muffler hangar, and ummm well. Oh yea, I have to carry a Subaru
manual with me on trips. Where is it now, come to think of it I haven't
seen it since I put it in that back cabinet. I should check so when I need
it for those intermittent hesitation problems . . oh, yea those are gone
too. And then there was the mechanic who refused to work on it. Wait that
was the VW mechanic that only worked on Air Cooled VW's. The Subaru guy
charged me $10.00 to hook up his select monitor to tell me everything was a
go.
Darn, it must have been a hassle. Oh, yea I had a timing belt replaced
after installation as a precaution. The mechanic was happy to do it.
Nope, good clean power when I need it. No regrets here.
But you make up your own mind. Have another Marguerita.
