If the fan comes on, it works. Speed is controlled by a series of relays & a hi-watt resistor (the one behind your grille). My guess is the thermo switch on the radiator is shot. If you take the upper & lower grilles out, it's mounted on to the frt left (on my 83.5) side and has a two or three wire plug hooked to it. With the ignition switch on, unplug it and try a jumper wire across the different connectors in the plug. Some combination(s) should make the fan start. If so, replace the switch. If not, drop back 10 yards & punt!!!! Or you might pack the heads with Black Powder and get back 100 yards with a remote starter. Seriously thought, let me know what happens next, and we'll go from there.
