I second this. Boston Engine has a good reputation with regard to rebuilding the 1.9/2.1 wbx. In my opinion, it would be worth the shipping to go this route.

If you decide to tackle the job yourself, Robert Lilley seems to know his stuff. He has experience in wringing more performance out of these engines, but some of his ideas are applicable even if you want to keep it stock.
