The comment is not invalid - eurospec was not a conversion imported from SA, though they (overland) may have tried to lead you to believe it was - there are listees who have posted who live in SA who believe that the kit we're talking about here is the same conversion that is offered in SA. Yeah the bus in SA has some differences but no one has ever posted that those differences have limited their ability to put in any given engine or transmission. Any problems have been inherent with the kit itself, not the differences between SA vanagons and US/European vanagons - and yes, I'm very glad I did not buy the Eurospec kit - think I'll be happy if I never buy anything from Overland Parts.
