Subject:      over charging any refrigeration system can get expensive

At some point in the over charging process your compressor gets "slugged"...
liquid gets into the area reserved for gasses and things go bang... just
like a piston full of  water in your engine... liquid freon does not
compress at all... there is a proper charge for every system and some fiddle
room but not that much in small systems..
