Actually I just updated my prices on this page. Here are the new prices: $361.80 for kit for manual tranny 84-85 $507.80 for kit for automatic transmission 84-85

All hoses are either VW dealer hoses or German. I have tons of these earlier hoses in stock as I figured that folks that have been running around with the same coolant hoses for 15 + years would want to replace thier old hoses more than folks with the newer vans. Actually it has turned out to be the opposite, I can only guess that people with the newer vans think about PM more for some reason (not trying to put anyone on a guilt trip or anything :) My opinion is that coolant hoses look really cheap when you are looking at a blown up motor (I have looked at several this summer) but then it is too late. After fuel lines, I would say coolant system components are the next highest priority for the Vanagon. It won't kill you and your family if a hose blows, but it will probably kill the engine and leave you stranded somewhere that you might not want to be.
