To all who responded with parts requests, I will get back to you. For the time being, a buddy just got back from out of town to discover his auto tranny in his F*** van croaked. He's not sure if he'll replace with a junkyard tranny, get a new used vehicle, or bite the bullet and buy a new car. In the meantime, I offered him the use of this 87 Vanagon, though he'll need to refill the cooling system once or twice a day. Not sure how long he'll be using it, but I will reply to each of you once I get it back.
