Well with 2 days before departure to the VW Reunion @ Woodstock, I lost my muffler and tailpipe. My hanger had rusted through on the part behind the muffler.

Anyway to make a long story short, I am going to Midas Muffler for an lifetime warranty replacement for a quoted $210 incl/tax, which is including the tailpipe and hanger.

Any negative issues with Midas. While I'd like to go for an original, after I get all the parts and swear at the rusted bolts holding the remnants of the muffler to the cat, I really couldn't see any issues with the deal considering the time frame.

Thanks for your time.
