Someone on the list recently recommended Tilex for my white top. It's a LOT whiter now, using Tilex and a small scrub pad. It's a general bathroom clean up detergent, also used in pools. Worked real well, didn't even have to try hard.

hi everybody- i am fairly new to the list. a little background...i just bought my first bus, a 1982 wesfalia vanagon. i have been driving it the past weekend and it did extremely well. i am up in the mountains in colorado (outside of vail, in avon) and the bus did fine going over several passes (even though it is air-cooled!) so i was quite pleased with the purchase. so onto the question....does anyone have any recommendations on something to clean the pop-top? i used softscrub on a small area on the top and it worked well, it just took a long time. i did look in the archives but i didn't find anything. thanks in advance- rawls moore
