I've had two speeding tickets, and thousands of seat belt tickets - last one landed five days in jail cause I didn't want to pay it and they wouldn't go along with a payment plan (it was 150 dollars and I was keeping my money so I could buy my vanagon - barely had enough money... and my Honda was going through last rites). I thought I would be out in 24 hours - but the previous Judge I saw (had gotten an extension) rigged it so that I was given Contempt of Court.
