When I lived in San Diego I used to go to Down to Baja as much as I could. I have two things to say- always carry extra gas and don't drive at night. Also eat as many fish tacos as you can and only gringos drink corona, tecate is much better and cheaper!

We will be heading down to Mexico soon and would appreciate any tips on good Mexican vehicle insurance to buy and any other recommendations. It has been suggested that Mexico is the place to get good bodywork done inexpensively and I would like to get some seam rust fixed while there. All comments appreciated and actual experience thereis highly values. Thanks in Advance. I will be travelling from Toronto in Canada without air conditioning.
