FWIW, when doing interstate treks that take us well into the after-dark hours, we usually pull into the parking lot of the nicest motel we see. Have never had even a remote problem. If we're logging less miles per day, then we'll try and locate a more serene spot during the daylight hours. But even that approach doesn't guarantee quiet - like the time the local kids set up a midnight kegger about 200 yards from our site. My two cents worth, Greg 86.5 Camper Syncro WLE
