Reminds me of a similar incident that happened to me one cold winter many years ago.

I was driving with a friend, and asked him to put the heater on as it was damn cold - being winter and all.
He did nothing but push in the cigarette lighter.
After a few minutes - the cigarette lighter popped out - he pulled it out and started waving it all around.

[The cars heater wasn't working!!]

Ya gotta laugh.

All this talk reminded me of something my grandma told me. We were
sweltering in traffic and I asked here to turn on the A/C. Being from the
old school and not trusting them new fangled devices or saving it for an
"emergency" she looked at me and just smiled. Without missing a beat she
patted my small knee and said;" Kenny, don't you know air conditioning is
for pussies?".  God I miss her. Coincidence or not none of _my personal_
vehicles has ever had A/C.
