You might want to consider a Sportsmobile conversion instead - they specialize in doing custom camping conversions of big ol' American cargo vans, and they have a really nice pop-up top available. They also were the company that did the first VW pop-top camper conversions back in the 60's (before Westfalia). I visited their factory in Texas, and they were very nice and appear to do good work. I may end up with one some day, but I'm sticking with my Westy for now.
