Subject: Agilis 61 -- Specifications from Michelin
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Since I will soon be buying new tires, this morning I called Michelin and asked them to fax me a spec sheet on the Agilis 61 in the 185R14C tire. The content of a page that looks as if it is intended for tire dealers reads as follows: ****************************** "The subject tire is the replacement tire available for the VW Vanagons which have recommend rear axle inflation pressure of 41 psi or higher. Please add the following tire specifications to your data."

Approved rims: 5.0"-6.0" Width: 7.64" Diameter 25.9" Loaded Rad 11.5" Revs/mi 804 Tread Dpth 10/32 Max Load 1,875 lb Max Infl 54psi

Above data based on 6.0" measuring rim Tire weight is 23.3 lbs " (this could be 23.9 lbs since the fax transmission was poor)

****************************** Based on the content of the fax, this size tire was specifically build for some of our Vanagons and is an appropriate replacement. Hope this helps and may be of help as others search the archives in the future.
