I have a rebuild in my 87 wolfsburg edition automatic and i must say that it is ok so far but for a small leak near the rear main seal??? It is the service at Slow German Auto and the way i kinda felt rooked when i eventually received my core $$$ back from them that unnerved the crap out of me!!! I had to badger them to get the rebuild to my place of work which was a PITA since it was supposed to go to the place where it was being installed. Then, they left out parts that belonged on the exterior of the block that were supposed to be on there. Then i had to call them for 2-3 months after they received my old block just to get my 320.00 of the 1000.00 i had a chance to get. This engine may get to 100,000 miles on it but i doubt i would reuse them again and will use Boston Bob next time.

Just my measly 2 cents worth!
