I know EXACTLY what you mean. My bus' little spring release is out in the desert somewhere outside of Moab....(temper, temper).... So far I've been able to get away with velcro, use the industrial strength stuff you can get at cloth/craft stores. It doesn't bug me as much, because that tables coming out eventualy when I convert Betsy to a custome Westie....
