I would recommend the Sach clutch kit (don't buy the parts individually is this is more expensive). Yes it is made in Mexico but so are the New Beetles. It is the German QC that you really want and that has been transplanted in Mexico. I sell the Sachs Clutch kits for $120 and this comes with a new clutch disc, pressure plate, pilot bearing, throw out bearing and alignment tool. If you aren't in NJ you don't have to pay tax on this either. Let me know if you are interested.
