The theory behind the quad tip and tri tip plugs AS EXPLAINED TO ME is that as one electrode fires it builds up heat within the electrode. As the heat builds, the resistance increases, and the spark will then jump to another, cooler electrode, thus reducing electrode erosion. Does this sound correct to you?
