Selling the honda isn't an option... and her parents gave it to her a few years ago and it'd be a dick move to sell it... inlaws... Then again, if i sell the bus my wife promised me that she'll let me get a new one after grad school. Maybe a syncro that needs a new engine so i can put in an inline 4.... Or if we sell the truck, we still need to get lots of fire wood and would have to beg/borrow/steel a truck for that. Hmmm, I guess i could see my Chain Saw in my bus. It's a stihl- both fine German Engineering. >> Matt, I have often pondered the same dilemma.... and I had an idea. Remove the middle seat (temporarily).... Build yourself a box out of decent plywood... roughly 4 foot on a side and 4 feet high... you might be able to get a little more size into the cargo area. Make the side facing the sliding door easy to remove/open. Anyways, make this box easy to disassemble. When you want to haul some firewood.... swap the seat for the box and there you go.... should be able to haul a full face cord with that. Any listmembers with input on this?
