' 87 Westy and ' 78 Westy as daily drivers. Both modified by my son-in-law ( who builds air-cooled engines for a living, although getting him to build a VW engine< especially the H2O BXR> took threats of moving in with him and my daughter. <He's a bit of a Porsche snob...Seems to think that VW is the Red-Headed Step-Child...) to keep up with the "Interesting" traffic down here in southern Fla. Kinda fun to scream buy some wanker in a new BMW, doing 90mph in a ' 78 Westy. They don't quite seem to get it......Who says retirement has to be boring? Beckett |
