I was at my favorite FLAPS this AM getting parts. I mentioned the recent email list discussions regarding Camelback VW as a discount parts source. Ken suggested that you continue to call Camelback and then call AutohausAZ to double check the price (and specific brand name on the part). Autohaus AZ supplies parts to alot of the local imports dealerships. It would be a big mistake to assume that the "factory" supplies all of the parts.

Try Autohaus Arizona as a *warehouse* OEM/OES parts source for Audi, BMW, Honda, Jaguar, Mercedes, Porsche, Saab, Volkswagen and Volvo.

*Specifically mention that you are refered from the Vanagon/Syncro EMAIL lists.* Don't just say "the website".

I get nothing out of this other than to support an unusually nice group of folks who have treated me with extreme courtesy as if I am their biggest customer. Quite the contrary! I literally drive right past several VW specific FLAPS on my way to Autohaus. The other FLAPs have routinely exhibited indignant attitudes as if they were doing me a favor by waiting on me. Usually these wiseguys have higher prices and are on a sales comission! Ironically, Autohaus supplies several of these sources as well. Hopefully this little secret source of mine will benefit you. =) Regards, Jim Ellis Phoenix AZ 909
