Subject: FS: '87 Wolfsburg, CA car located in New Orleans
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii

Hello all, I am doing something that I never thought I would do. I won't even say the words! Anyways I have decided that my Wolfy is more than I need at this time in my life and that a sports car(ie MX-5 roadster) will better suit my needs. I would love to keep this vehicle as I planned on owning her my entire life! But it is just too difficult for me to have two cars being a college student(plus I need $$$). Anyways about the car. . . . SHe is an '87 with 205k miles with the engine replaced with a VW FACTORY rebuild in '93 with 100k miles on her. I am fully confident that the end of her life is no where to be seen! I wanted to take her at least to the 500k mark if I had the time and held onto her that long. I haven't had any major troubles with her except expected maintenance. The rear bearing were replaced along with the rear drums and pads at 200k(the rear brakes were unneccesary and is a sore subject as I got some terrible service in NJ!) Anyways I have not really tried to sell her yet, or even get her ready(a few loose ends that need to be tied), but I thought that I would let the list members get a shot at her first as maybe you can save some money and purchase as is. I plan on asking $4200 for her when she is all fixed up, to give a price picture. I am located in New Orleans(but she is an original So. Cal car with only 8 months in N.O.) and would be confident in saying that you could drive her from here to anywhere! I just got back from a 7.5K mile trip with no problems(ran out of gas once!) If anybody is interested email me at aculp2@yahoo.com and I will let you know some more. Again she is a Wolfsburg with the table and jump seats intact! I will truly hate to see her go and would like and enthusiast to take good car of her when she leaves my hands. Thanks for understanding the tough time I am having with this. Hopefully she will find a wonderfull home!

have fun, ADAM '87 Wolfy who will be sadly parted with soon :-(

=====
