Subject: 89 syncro westy electric door locks
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

The electric door locks on my 89 syncro westy have a mind of their own. I'm sure many of you have had this happen... I even had it happen in my 88 wolfie once, but I can't remember what the solution was. When either of the front doors is unlocked it automatically locks itself again. If I'm quick and I open the door before it locks again, the locking system cycles locked, unlocked, locked, unlocked as long as the door is open. When the door is shut it automatically locks itself and shuts down. Side door can be opened independently... rear door must be opened while one of the front doors is open and cycling. Drives me nuts!

TIA
