I drive my 90 GL 12 miles to work each of the 4 days a week I work mostly on 4 lane roads. I've replaced enough parts on it to feel comfortable on the road driving it. BTW, only been late once in two years due to a dead battery and that wasn't te van's fault! Got an engine overhaul/swap looming though at almost 155k
