Subject:      Carat/Wolfy table STUCK...hold down ideas??

had the usual stuck table prob in my carat again today.. so i had to unbolt
the hinges and get it open that way. Its open now (after some swearing and
muscle), but the spring loaded release mechanism (the culprit) is sitting at
the bottom of the Jordan Creek now.. those suckers can fly!!  (temper,
temper) :<)  what have other carat/wolfy owners done when their table got
stuck? any other ideas to fixing it down?  velcro doesnt seem strong enough
and a slide bolt latch just looks ugly....ideas??...?   thanks
