Subject: making a carat?
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

I know I am not the first person who wished they had a syncro carat. Well I have the syncro and some of the carat parts, it is not as easy as I thought. I just got the drivers side rear panel/fold out table. I tore out all the side panels and the rear seat and it looked like it would fit fine untill I realized the bed is quite a bit wider in a regular GL. So, my question is, has anyone ever put the table panel in and made a regular sofabed work? I was told by a list member that he had seen it on here before but I didn't see it in the archives. It looks like buying a whole new rear sofabed is out of my price range for this, so maybe I'll sell the panel if any one wants it. I could also put the table in and cut holes in the stock GL panel, has anyone done that before? I'd love to get this to work out soon, I am driving to San Diego and back in two weeks and I would love to use the table when I am camping in Baja. Lee Peterson 89 syncro
