You may have more than one problem part.
I think there maybe more than one definition of the term 'bucking' here on
the list. The classic definition as I understand it is there is a surging
and/or loss of power typically after extended periods of highway driving at
more or less constant speed. The problem seems to be that a wear pattern
develops in the AFM with the result that in certain speed ranges it sends
strange signals to the ECU that confuses it. If the driver then stops and
shuts the engine off the ECU will reset itself with the result that the
engine will start right up and run normally for a time before the symptoms
recur. The solution is the wiring harness for about $100 or maybe $120...

You can by it direct from www.busdepot.com and install it in about 2
minutes.
When I bought my van I was not having the bucking problem, but my mechanic
installed the fix as a preventative since I go on long trips to remote
places and this problem can be a PITA. Considering the nature of my trips I
consider the $120 a cheap insurance against a real PITA and money well
spent. In this day of high prices and the cost of paying a mechanic $50 or
more per hour to think about and test for your problem I consider $120 and
easy self installation to be a cheap fix.
You idling problem is likely something different... first try the Temp 2
sensor... $10 and you can install in 15 minutes... if that doesn't work you
may want to look at the idle stabilizer valve or the idle control unit...
both expensive items.
