although I've never had the bucking problem , I did have the horrendous flat spot coming off of idle. theRadio Shack capacitor fix didn't solve the problem. Replacing O 2 sensor with the expensive 3 wire unit and putting in new AFM box did solve the problem. Needed the O2 sensor anyway, so can't say for sure which did fix the problem.
