I have Bridgestones on my Vanagon and like them a lot better than both sets of Michelins I had. I doubt more regulation by the government is the answer; there's a lot of regulation now and it didn't stop the present situation from occurring. The government can't save us from everything, nor do I want it to. I do have Firestones on my 1960 Double Cab, but since I don't usually drive it on the freeway or more than 45-50mph, I think I'm pretty safe!
