I own 3 cars, an '82 Westy (the TURD), a '74 Thing and a '90 Cherokee. The Westy is the driver now with a 120 mile commute from Oswego, IL to Lincolnshire, IL each day, 5 to 6 days a week. The Jeep's 4wd system eats parts on the long commute, the thing has 34k original miles so I rarely subject it to the long haul, and the Westy is going great at 350k miles.

There is just something special about driving an air-cooled camper at 68mph everyday to make the world seem right.

Chris Smith
