My Westfalia '84 is my daily driver vehicle, to and from work, to the University two nights per week to take classes towards my Ed.D. About 250 miles a week across mountain roads (narrow, winding, up and downs). Week ends an occasional across the island trip to my parents in law (about 250 miles, both ways). Right now it has 189,000 total miles with 23,000 on a head rebuilt and 15,000 on the gear box.
