I too would be loathe to give up the truck, and besides, you won't get much money for it so it's probably not worth it to sell.

FWIW, I too heat with wood (about 2 cords a year in our milder climate), and routinely fit a half cord or more in our westy. If the wood is not too green, I can carry closer to 3/4 of a cord (maybe even a bit more!), although it gets pretty packed inside! I wouldn't recommend screaming down hills or flying around corners loaded like that!
