Adam,

I just learned all about this stuff in trying to sell some parts from a van before having it carted off. After I removed a full set of interior panels and shipped them to Hawaii, I realized that totaling all the time spent I would have made more if I had given them away. So, armed with this knowledge, I was more generous to myself the next time someone sent me a parts request. The result was that I sold no more parts. In fact, once I quoted a price after removing, inspecting and describing the item, I was not even afforded the courtesy of a rejection. Maybe I am odd, but if I needed a rare sunroof panel and someone offered to remove, properly crate and ship me one in perfect condition for $150, I would jump on it.

Rich
