Subject: New Speakers in a Vanagon GL
Content-type: text/plain; charset="US-ASCII"

Hi Folks,

I own a 1991 Vanagon GL, stock.

I find as I drive on some surfaces, interior noise makes it had to hear my Alpine radio/cd player.

I love to hear if any vanagon owners have successfully had new speakers installed, front, back or anywhere in-between.

I must say, the speaker at the knee also makes it hard to hear. Has anyone installed speakers elsewhere in their vans?

Finally, are there any speaker brand, make or model that you can recommended?

I know there are a few physical designs I need to beware of, with the window crank( all tho I have power windows) and dashboard.

Please feel to email me directly if you like, with any information you can share.

I live in Washington state, and planed on taking my van to a chain, named "Car Toys"

Thanks much,

dave bowers Vancouver, Washington 1991 Vanagon GL 54k
