GTRV USA makes a larger one they call the "2000 Westy" out of the Ford E150 van. A bit of a beast, and I really hate the antique swinging doors, but probably makes more sense for the money than a Eurovan Winnie for $40,000 or the tiny Caravan conversion. But then I don't know how much it costs, but I have asked by email. I guess I'll just keep buying parts for my old beater...er, I mean beauty, for a while longer. http://www.gtrv.com/index.htm -- Stuart MacMillan Seattle '84 Vanagon Westfalia w/2.1 '65 MGB (Driven since 1969) '74 MGB GT (Restoring) Assisting on Restoration: '72 MGB GT (Daughter's) '64 MGB (Son's) Parts cars: '68 & '73 MGB, '67 MGB GT |
