I have a new hose kit for a 85 GL. When I change them I want to change from VW coolant to Prestone Orange or something like that because it is cheaper, easier to get, most likely a fresher product, works as well as VW if I change it every year from what I gather. My question is I would like to flush the system of all the VW antifreeze to avoid any compatability problems but I don't want to pull the head drain plugs. I am going to use Boston Bobs procedure for bleeding the system so I was thinking of filling the system with water after I drain it then drain again. Then fill with coolant and bleed. Anybody have any better ideas or tips? Mark Ingalls _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com.
