My first question is "What did he say was wrong with the motor?" I like to know the specifics of the problem before I go replacing things, especially big ticket items like whole engines. If in fact, the engine is over, then I would talk to Boston Bob....Bob Donalds....of Boston Engines. He can probably get you into a new and reliably built engine in short order.
