Hey Volks.... I was putting my rear heater core back in the Wobbly Bus... got the new hose and tees from NAPA... everything was going great... was putting the last hose connection onto that last tee and... SNAP! The other end of that hose came down out of the bottom of van and whacked my right in the nose. This was enough to make me fairly angry.... and then I noticed the pieces of black plastic stuck in the end.... and my world crumbled.... (time out for beer). Well, I got my printout from my trusty ETKA and looked up the plastic manifold I just broke. Wouldn't you know it, the diagram lists 3 different partnumbers. 251 121 438, 438A, 438B..... 438A is supposed to be for the autmatic tranny 2.1 vanagons.... here's my question. The Bus Depot only lists the 438.... will this work on my automatic tranny Vanagon? Thanks in advance... time for that last beer. Scott De Santi 86 Vanagon 2WD (The Wobbly Bus) Anchorage, Alaska |
