I don't know if this person is on the list or not, so this might not be any help. I just wanted to share it. On sunday I saw a perfect red late model carat with a 1.8t in downtown Denver. I followed him for a while but I didn't get a chance to talk to him. He had the four Audi circles in the middle of the "stripe" area of his back hatch and the 1.8t script right where my syncro one is. The van looked like new and I think it sat a little lower than stock. He had California plates that said "radio flyer" in some abbreviated way. I wanted to follow him and look at it but I had some stuff to do. Maybe if he is on the list he can help you.

Lee Peterson 89 syncro

Has anyone on the list successfully transplanted a 1.8t into a vanagon? Would you be willing to share your experience? Tips, Tricks, Traps? cankeny@ll.net
