I thought I'd try one more time :

FOR SALE: $2700 obo

1981 Volkswagen Vanagon ASI Riviera Camper:

- PICTURES AVAILABLE

- 2.0L - Reads 0lbs compression on #3, still runs OK and has good compression on all other cylinders (105lbs.). May be burnt piston, may be valves. Either way it needs engine work. May be a head, could need top end rebuild (bottom end is tight).

- Automatic works good, drips a little

- Has Factory A/C. But needs a compressor

- Tight front end

- New tires with 300 miles on them (185/R14C 8-ply tires D Load Range)

- New shocks with 300 miles on them

- New rear brake shoes, and turned drums 300 miles ago.

- Rust free, looks nice, paint may be a little thin. Undercarriage is rust free and solid

- Interior in excellent condition, cabinets look new. Has stove w/vent fan, sink, water tank, Dometic 215 Fridge (Cold to 35 degrees F), propane tank (same as a westy), removable porta-potti, removable center game table, fold out bed, roof pop top (straight up) w/ bed upstairs (canvas in good shape, no holes or tears) (It all works). Lights over sink, in middle, and above downstairs bed. Gray water tank. Screen for rear hatch. Dual battery setup w/battery condition meters and 110VAC charging system. Interior plush and looks new, front seats a little worn. Swivel front seats.

- AM/FM tape deck.

- Some spare parts and other neat stuff.

- Receipts back to 95, tons of work done already!
