Dear Julio...welcome to the list.....I am not one to give any mechanical advice because I am mechanically challenged..however since I bought my Vanagon a little over a year ago I have learned more than I ever thought possible... you have come to the right place (this list is full of incredible volks who patiently answer questions and help out all they can...they are awesome) but I can speak to the heart aspect....I have NEVER felt such a kinship with an automoblie in my entire life.......its definately some kind of mystical spiritual drawing thing...I have spent way too much time and money keeping "Harold" tip top but nevertheless would do it again....."Harold is an 83 Diesel ASI conversion.....don't even think of a diesel unless you really like life in the SLOW lane...but this has caused me to SLOW down which is a good and healthy thing....I have been checking out Autotrader.com...there are tons of Westys and other Vanagons on there..........and folks do sell some here........good luck and welcome to La La land!!!!!!! Susanb
