Start with a review of the general state of tune of the vehicle - plugs, cap & rotor, air filter, fuel filter and operating parameters. While you are at it clean the throttle body and the bypass air regulator and make certain that the throttle switches are adjusted according to the manual, esp. the throttle-stop switch. You could have a problem with the Digifant Temp II sensor but check and replace the above items before you go to the sensor. Every time you turn the key to or through the run position in cooler ambient temperatures you are causing the injectors to fire fuel. This is why you find the greatest success in re-starting cold with the throttle pedal held down as the added airflow volume helps to offset the added fuel. If you go through the items noted and continue to have trouble then we may need to look at the temp sensor and a couple of other items but you will likely find your fix before getting there.
