Greetings Listees,

I am a bicyclist and carry a high volume bicycle floor pump. I can easily add a few or more psi to my tires. I got in the habit of carrying it long ago because the windshield washer tank on my 78 Westy was simply a pressure vessel with a rubber hose and schrader valve (car type) to pressurize it.

My wife always carried a small compressor that plugged into the cigarette lighter. It was not as reliable as my pump. Good pumps can be ordered through performancebike.com or bikenashbar. I'm not talking about the kind of pumps available at K-Mart, Walmart, etc.

Works for me and a good pump has an ACCURATE pressure guage.

Cheers,

Fred 89 Westy
