No you need the 438A.  This is the one for Automatic Vanagons from '86 up to
a certain year (yet to be determined).  My automatic '91 Carat uses 483B and
adds a rather expensive and convoluted preformed "T" hose instead of the
coolant distributor just having one more nipple.
I sell the 438A coolant distributor and the other two for $24 each and they
are in stock.  Let me know if you are interested.
