I have the Webber Progressive on my '82. It was a real pain to get dialed-in, but now I have better power and greater economy than the FI gave. I know that FI should be more accurate, but since the system was at 250k miles, there were few good parts left. I'm not sure if this carb is for everyone. It takes a lot of time to get set-up correctly. I was lucky, and was able to do it on a motor that was going to be replaced anyway, so running too lean for a while didn't cost me anything.

Good Luck Chris Smith
